How has your weekend been? Mine has been pretty busy but relaxing all the same. Yesterday we went to the movies. We watched World War Z. Great movie. I read the book it’s based off of a while back. I like that the writers created a story-line for the movie based off of elements from the book. If you’ve read the book, it’s by no means a replica of events in the book so if you are expecting that, you’ll be disappointed from that standpoint. But you should give the movie a shot. It was pretty suspenseful and it kept my interest!
Other things going on in my life: I’m getting ready for vacation! We are heading down to the Keys (Islamorada) Thursday morning. We’ll be staying until Sunday. It will be tons of fun and great to get out and relax. So if I am MIA from the blogging world for a few days, that would be the reason why. Oh yea, and then there’s that thing called work and school. School is going well. Work is going busy and it will be for the next few months.
What did you do this weekend?
I hope you enjoy this patriotic Fourth of July printable that I created for you. I am going to print one out and use it in my front room as a decoration for the upcoming holiday! You can also use this for Memorial Day and Veterans Day.
Have a wonderful day!
What about “Labor day” I don’t get a day off from work on “president’s day” And I hardly get a day off (from work) for “veterans day” and I had to ask my bosses, if I could work a 1/2 day at work.
Hi Mary,
I’m sorry to hear that but you can always look at the positive side of the situation and be thankful that you have a job. And what’s great is that if you aren’t happy at your current job, you can always look for a new one! If you have any customer service or cash handling experience, try to get into banking. I work in the banking industry. We get all of the holidays off!
Have a wonderful evening and thanks for stopping by!
Sorry, but some people who have autisim, and work in a stuctured workshop can not switch their jobs. I also have to go to GED classes even during the summer.
This is beautiful! Thanks for sharing. My weekend was very relaxing as well…not as busy as you. So jealous of your vacation this week. Have a great time :)
Thank you so much, Zainab! I’m glad you are having a relaxing weekend. I am so ready for vacation. I can’t wait until it starts. Only a few more days.
Enjoy the rest of your day!
Love the printables you’re doing. What about little banner printables for cupcakes? I’m always looking for boyish one for the boys parties. For some reason, just like clothes, you can find girlie looks ones, but not boy ones.
Try “sports” designs… all boys like sports don’t they?
That’s a great idea, Paula! I could create some cupcake printables with greens, blues and yellows! Thanks for the idea. I will do something like that in the future! The next one I make will probably be a conversion chart. :)
Love it, Julie!! Great job. Pinning!! :)

Yay! Thank you so much, Lisa! You know, I heard on the internet that you can send the printables to Kinkos or Staples and they will print them for you for super cheap!
Oh Julie, I love this! Keep up the great job on the printable a!
